Color looks the same as the Mac's gray and is the same height, only problem I can see is if you have a smaller bag and keep rubbing it in and out of the bag but I rarely take my mac anywhere so five stars from me.

I connected everything I can think of and no problems.

plus I get to protect my existing ports since I'll just leave it connected and then when I plug and unplug everything a million times over the years I will be wearing out this thing instead of the Mac's ports and if it breaks I can just get another adapter. After having to tape it to my brand-new $3500 MacBook Pro to complete a project on a tight deadline, I realized how silly (cheap) I was being and bought a proper adapter. If they can fix this retention issue, it would be great -but it is garbage as-is. If you move the computer at all, you risk disconnecting everything (which has more than once set me back hours while processing video from an external drive). The retention on the USB C ports (connecting adapter to computer) is very poor. UPDATE: Changing my review based on long-term use. at about 1/3 the cost of an adapter from Apple, with 4x the ports. so i emailed them and they immediately mailed me a new one!!! free of charge!!! awesome customer service!!!! keep up the good work MOKIN.Ĭompletely unusable (if your work matters to you at all) - Disconnects if you move your computer. i ordered a USB-C to ethernet adapter for my MacBook pro few weeks ago but unfortunately it didn't work. the MOKIN company people take customer satisfaction very seriously. the one thing i miss though is that i wish it had a slot to plug in ethernet cable.

there is no software to download and install. just hooked it up to my MacBook pro 13 inch 2020 model and it just works. I received this product today in the mail. I've already tried prying off the shell, and fear that if I continue, I'll crack it. Unfortunately, the design of this device requires that it fit flush to the side of the MacBook Pro, thus it's incompatible with the hard plastic shell which stays permanently attached to my computer. It's light, attractive, seems sturdy and comes with a soft pouch.
